Description
This charming frog purse may have held perfume sachets or herbs rather than coins. It is constructed using needlepoint stitching over silk fabrics attached to a firm foundation, possibly leather. The underneath section has a mottled appearance created by laying down little patches of green silk floss between the silk and needlepoint mesh.
